Crisis Line Advocate

The crisis line operates 24/7, 365 days a year. This line is reserved for victims experiencing true crisis and is in need of an advocate immediately, sometimes while we are out of the office on nights and weekends. The crisis line advocate is responsible for meeting the needs of the caller and assessing safety. This position requires 40 hours of advocate training provided by BCFR at no cost. This position can be fulfilled remotely.

Special Events Volunteer

Bluff Country Family Resources is a nonprofit that relies on grants and donations to provide vital services to our communities. We host 2-3 special event fundraisers throughout the year. These events take thorough planning. This position will work directly with the Executive Director to fulfill the needs of special events.

Donations Coordinator

Bluff Country Family Resources is fortunate to receive many donations from community members for our Starting Over Shelf (SOS). As donations come in, we have to sort and store the items appropriately for families in need. The donations coordinator is in charge of the Starting Over Shelf by keeping inventory, sorting, and identifying needs.

Board of Directors

The BCFR Board of Directors meets every other month to ensure the quality and sustainability of the agency. This is a volunteer position that requires about 3-6 hours per month and is a great way to give back to our community and build a resume!
